    What You’ll Be Doing


    Plans and implements K-Wings marketing programs targeted towards existing and new markets by performing the following duties individually and with a team.

    • Develop marketing and promotional plans for events including radio, television, print, outdoor, grassroots and online marketing efforts
    • Build and work on events with capacities ranging from 100 to 5,000 people
    • Develop and manage marketing operating budget
    • Assist with sponsorship fulfillment
    • Execute promotional efforts on-site at games
    • Maintain relationships with sales representatives and various media personnel
    • Produce creative and engaging promotional materials and sales support materials
    • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
    • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
    • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
    • Identify, interpret and capitalize on social media trends
    • Plan, manage, coordinate and execute all paid social media programs and initiatives
    • Creation and maintenance of the websites
    • Photograph game day festivities and player action shots
    • Design game graphics, emails, signage, and sales collateral


    What You Need for this Position

    • Experience in sports marketing and hockey industry
    • Four-year degree in Marketing required
    • 2-4 years of Marketing experience
    • Ability to communicate well, both written and orally
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with advertisers, users, employees, and the general public
    • Experience buying & negotiating advertising and promotions
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work well under strict deadlines and in a high stress environment
    • Flexibility
    • Strong interpersonal communications skills
    • Ability to work irregular hours as dictated by schedule
    • Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
    • Able to stoop and bend
    • Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds
    • Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
    • Able to comply with safety and health code standards
