What You’ll Be Doing

  • Key Player in month-end close process
    • Post monthly journal entries and accruals
    • Review general ledger
    • Preparation of monthly financial statements
    • Financial Statement Analysis
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assists with compilation of monthly forecasts, annual budgeting process 
  • Banking - processing electronic payments and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepares filing of sales tax returns and related tax forms and ensure timely payments
  • Processing and/or reviewing year-end tax forms (1099, 1042, W-2, 1094/1095)
  • Working with division/business leaders to enhance and improve their operations
  • Responsible for monitoring company credit cards
  • Assists corporate finance staff and other departments with accounting questions
  • Assists with internal and external audits
  • Compiles and researches information for variance reports
  • Adheres to Corporate Finance policies and procedures
  • Cross-trained in the absence of other Corporate Finance team members as needed
  • Maintain all contracts, licenses and renewals, including vendor management
  • Review and approve sales commissions
  • Report on KPI’s for departments

Qualifications

What You Need for this Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field required
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of financial close, income audit, A/P and A/R accounting functions
  • Working knowledge of accounting and basic tax principles
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work together as an integral part of the team
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Emphasis on confidentiality
