Overview
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and service-driven Assistant General Manager (AGM) to oversee the daily operations of two flagship venues: Burdick’s Sports Bar, a vibrant, high-energy environment known for its world-class hospitality, and our hotel Lobby Bar, which offers a refined, high-touch guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations for both Burdick’s Sports Bar and the Elevated Lobby Bar.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor, ensuring smooth service, guest satisfaction, and a strong team dynamic.
- Execute and uphold SOPs, service standards, and cleanliness protocols with a focus on consistency and excellence.
- Team Development & Accountability
- Lead by example with a professional appearance, exceptional work ethic, and commitment to hospitality.
- Cultivate a culture of teamwork, respect, and accountability, ensuring all team members meet performance expectations.
- Coach, train, and mentor staff to deliver elevated guest experiences and maintain brand standards.
- Financial & Administrative
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management; analyze financial reports and identify opportunities to drive revenue and control costs.
- Manage labor, inventory, and supply ordering with a focus on efficiency and profitability.
- Support scheduling and payroll processes to ensure appropriate staffing and labor compliance.
- Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Champion a guest-first mindset, ensuring every interaction reflects warmth, professionalism, and personalized service.
- Enforce non-negotiables: polished appearance, attentive service, pristine cleanliness, and timely execution.
- Collaborate with culinary and service teams to refine offerings and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaboration & Cross-Department Support
- Work closely with executive leadership, culinary teams, and hotel departments to align F&B operations with broader hotel goals.
- Support training rollouts, new program implementations, and brand initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in high-volume food & beverage operations, preferably within a hotel or multi-outlet environment.
- Strong background in hospitality, food and beverage, and team management.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills – ability to lead, listen, and build trust.
- Demonstrated ability to enforce high standards, hold team members accountable, and lead with integrity.
- Knowledge of financials including P&L statements, inventory control, and cost management.
- Passion for elevated service, food, beverage, and continuous improvement.
- A polished, professional appearance and unwavering commitment to cleanliness and guest experience.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hotel or hospitality venue management experience.
- Familiarity with both upscale cocktail programs and high-energy, casual environments.
- Strong understanding of back-of-house operations, bar management, and service training.
