Position Summary
Greenleaf Hospitality Group (GHG) is seeking an experienced Senior Network Administrator to oversee and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites. This role requires 4-7 years of progressive experience in the technology field with a strong emphasis on network operations, administration, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in managing switches, firewalls, and wireless systems, ensuring secure, stable, and high-performing network connectivity to support our hospitality, entertainment, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
● Network Maintenance & Support: Oversee day-to-day performance and health of enterprise networks across multiple sites, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal service levels.
● Configuration & Upgrades: Manage configuration, firmware updates, and lifecycle upgrades for switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
● Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Utilize monitoring tools to identify performance issues and quickly resolve connectivity or security incidents.
● Security Administration: Maintain and update firewall policies, VPN access, and intrusion prevention measures in compliance with security standards.
● Documentation & SOPs: Maintain accurate records of network topology, configuration changes, and operational procedures.
● Vendor Coordination: Liaise with ISPs, hardware providers, and support partners to resolve escalated issues.
● User Support: Provide Tier 3 escalation support for network-related issues from the help desk or on-site teams.
● Business Continuity: Ensure backup, redundancy, and failover systems are in place and functioning as designed.
What You Need for this Position
● Experience: 4–7 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on enterprise network administration in a multi-site environment.
● Technical Expertise:
○ Strong knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 switching and routing protocols
○ Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or similar)
○ Skilled in VPN administration, VLAN management, QoS, and wireless network optimization
○ Familiarity with Juniper, Ruckus, and Palo Alto equipment preferred
● Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, PCNSA, or equivalent strongly preferred
● Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
● Other: Willingness to provide after-hours support as needed and occasional travel between sites
